Our family is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinal baseball team. We love to attend games and watch as many games as possible. For a Christmas present, my daughter and family bought my hubby a tour of Busch Stadium. We were all able to go, and it was really fun to see the stadium during off season and behind the scenes.
The pictures are of the dugout and of the field. The field is covered with snow. The tour stayed inside most of the time, so it wasn't too cold.
We're anxious for the baseball season to begin, but are a little worried about the team this year since one of our best pitchers is out for the season.
I'm sure they will be great -- Pujols will lead the way!

My hubby has been building a sunroom onto the back of our home. Here are the stages of the project. The next step is to take out the bay window and add double doors into our kitchen.
I'm still trying to figure out the inside decor. Considering a tile floor and beadboard on the ceiling. I would like a "L" couch and a couple of side chairs with a large rug under the furniture. I've been looking through books and magazines for possibilities.
After the room is completely finished, then we plan to do some landscaping in the back yard that leads to a firepit. Always some sort of project around here!

Future Violinist
My granddaughter will start violin lessons soon. Her dad started playing when he was very young and is getting ready to release a new album soon. Check out his website at: http://www.rosschristopher.com/
She is already so very musical both with her voice and instruments. It is fun to watch her and look forward to her bright future.

Baby Shower
Baby shower time. Our niece is having a boy in March. I made her a tie onesie with matching reversible shoes. Both of these items are always fun to make. I also crocheted a blanket and baby hat.
The shower was fun and some good family time. The mom-to-be is having a good time at the shower. We're excited to meet little baby Jack. Maybe he will be born on his great uncle's birthday (my hubby). Wouldn't that be special.

Snow Day
We are in a blizzard. The prediction is 23" of snow by tomorrow. Crazy! I'm glad to be inside my warm home. I'm not going to work today and pretty sure not many people are getting out.
So this morning we had a nice breakfast of waffles, eggs and bacon. Must keep our energy up!
I plan on going through boxes in my basement that need to be sorted through and hopefully start on tearing down wallpaper in one of our bedrooms. Also I will be checking in on work through voicemail and e-mail.
Be safe out there everyone.
