Welcome to Blogging! I look forward to checking in on you and seeing what's going on. My nest is also in the Midwest (Indiana) although not empty yet it will be empty all day long starting next fall so I'm dealing with the questions that come from that. Not quite the level you are at but I feel a smidge of your pain!
