Laugh and Cry
This weekend has been one of ups and downs. It started early Saturday morning by going to a childhood friend's funeral. Her father was my pastor until I was 14. She and her sister were my brothers' ages and I thought the world of both of them. I hadn't seen her in a long time but our parents have kept in touch over the years and the bonds from years ago are still very much there. The rest of the weekend was filled with laughter. My hubby and I along with our good friends went to "Wild Hogs". The theater was totally packed with mostly empty nester types! We laughed through the entire movie and so did the rest of the audience. Hilarious! Then Sunday I went with some girlfriends and saw "Menopause the Musical". We laughed hard and enjoyed singing along with favorite 60's music with new lyrics. What an emotional weekend.

Balance is always best... with tears comes laughter. I'm glad you were able to experience both ends of the spectrum... truly makes us appreciate all.
Sounds like you were rewarded in many ways....
