Saturday we met family at this quaint restaurant that is "off the beaten path". We took a gravel road to get there. The family that own this restaurant only open on weekends and by appointment only.They serve downhome cooking which includes fried chicken and ham along with the fixin's. For dessert they have cobblers and cheesecakes.
The evening was enjoyable with good food and conversation although the subject matter was not easy. More on that later.
The location is in MidMo and the town of Claysville right along the Katy Trail.
