Hope all has had a wonderful Easter. It is a little cooler than I would like, but not raining. Instead of doing colored eggs this year, I made cupcakes with colored icing. Same food coloring all over my hands, but tastes better!I took these cupcakes to church for our youth. It was my turn for treats for Sunday School and I wanted to take something bright and springy. I believe they enjoyed them.
Here is the recipe I used for the icing: Wilton's Buttercream Icing. Ummm good!

What a fabulous idea! I NEVER actually eat all the eggs I dye. Next year, I'm totally joining you in cupcake making =0)
