Hope all has had a wonderful Easter. It is a little cooler than I would like, but not raining. Instead of doing colored eggs this year, I made cupcakes with colored icing. Same food coloring all over my hands, but tastes better!
I took these cupcakes to church for our youth. It was my turn for treats for Sunday School and I wanted to take something bright and springy. I believe they enjoyed them.
Here is the recipe I used for the icing: Wilton's Buttercream Icing. Ummm good!

What a fabulous idea! I NEVER actually eat all the eggs I dye. Next year, I'm totally joining you in cupcake making =0)
